Sprouts And Paneer Chat-Pati Chat

Paneer sprouts chat
Ingredients:

Mixed sprouts grams or sprouted green gram - 1 cup
Paneer - 100 gms
Tomatoes - 2 nos
Onion - 1 no
Salt - to taste
Lime juice - 1/2 tsp
Chat masala - to taste
Coriander - 1 tbsp

Method of preparation :


  • Cut paneer into small cubes (Use them raw or deep fried) 
  • Steam the sprouts and allow them to cool
  • De-seed and chop the tomatoes finely
  • Chop onions finely
  • Mix tomatoes, paneer and onions with cooked sprouts
  • Add salt, lime juice and chat masala
  • Mix well and garnish with coriander leaves
  • Simple and healthy chat-pati paneer sprouts chat is ready to serve

Shredded Chilli Chicken Recipe/ How to Prepare Chilli Chicken Dry

Ingredients:

For Marination :


Boneless chicken - 3/4 kg

Chilli sauce - 1 tsp
Soya sauce - 1 tsp
Pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
Corn flour - 2tbsp
Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt little
Vinegar - 1/2 tsp
Egg - 1

For Seasoning:


Soya sauce - 3/4 tsp

Chilli sauce - 1tsp
Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
Oil - for deep frying 
Chopped green chillies - 1 tbsp
Chopped onion - 1/2 cup
Chopped capsicum - 1/4 cup
Finely chopped garlic - 1/2 tbsp
Chopped spring onions - 1/2 cup
Finely chopped ginger  - 3/4 tbsp

Preparation Method:

  • Clean chicken and cut them into thin strip

  • Marinate chicken with chilli sauce, soya sauce, pepper powder , corn flour, red chilli powder, vinegar, egg and little salt 
  • Keep covered in a bowl for 1 hour or more at room temperature 
  • Heat oil in a pan and deep fry chicken or it can be grilled at 240 C for 25 minutes in a preheated oven. After chicken is cooked, drain on a kitchen tissue to remove excess oil .Keep aside
  • Keep 2 tsp of oil and remove rest of oil from the pan 
  • Now add garlic and ginger fry for a minute 
  • Add onion, capsicum, spring onions and green chillies and fry for a 1 or 2 minutes till they become slightly soft
  • Add soya sauce, red chilli powder, chilli sauce mix well
  • Add fried chicken and saute for 2 to 3 minutes on high flame
  • Garnish with chopped spring onions and coriander leaves 
  • Chilli chicken is ready to serve

Paneer Tikka Dry - Tasty And Simple Veg Starter Recipe - How to make Paneer Tikka at home

Paneer Tikka is easy to make and delicious North Indian veg dish liked by kids and adults. It can be cooked simply by greasing tawa with little oil, if you dont have grill and tandoor. Paneer Tikka can be served as a starter or a snack garnished with sliced onions, lime and green chutney.They go well as a side dish too. You can have Paneer Tikka with roti and naan .

Ingredients:

Paneer cubes (cottage cheese) - 250 gms

Capsicum - 2 medium
Onion - 1 medium
Tomato - 1 medium
Thick drained yogurt - 1/2 cup
Salt to taste
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
Amchur(dried mango powder) - 1/2 tsp
Ginger & garlic paste - 1  1/2 tsp
Oil as required
Lemon juice - 1/2 tsp
Chat masala - 1/2 tsp

Preparation method :

  • Make marinade of drained yogurt, red chilli powder, salt, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, amchur powder, ginger & garlic paste, lemon juice & chat masala, mix all these well
  • Dice the vegetables (tomato, capsicum & onion)
  •  Add paneer cubes & diced capsicum, tomato and onion to the marinade & mix well gently. Set them aside for 1 hour in refrigerator
  • Skewer the vegetables & paneer to skewers or tooth picks
  • Preheat oven at 250 degrees C 
  • Arrange the skewers of paneer & vegetables on baking tray brush little oil and cook for 10 minutes, basting with more oil in between & rotate the skewers. 
  • To cook them on non-stick tawa or pan or grilling pan, heat 2 tbsps oil on tawa or pan, place marinated paneer cubes & vegetables. Fry them on low or medium flame, turn them to fry them evenly. 
  • Serve them hot with onion slices, lemon wedges & mint chutney.
