Murgh Makhamali Kebab Recipe - How To Make Spicy And Velvety Chicken Kebabs Recipe



Murgh Makhamali Kebab 
Ingredients :

boneless chicken breasts - 4 or 200 grams each
Ginger & garlic paste - 1 1/2 tsps
Grated processed cheese - 1/4 cup
Fresh cream - 1/4 cup
Yogurt - 2/3 cups
Salt to taste
Garam masala powder - 2 tsps
Lemon juice - 1/2 tsp
Butter - 1/4 cup
Pepper powder -1/2 tsp
Green chillis - according to taste

Preparation method :

  • Clean chicken and remove skin. Cut chicken 
  • Grind green chillis, mix it with ginger & garlic paste & rub this paste well into the chicken. Cover it and keep aside for 20 minutes
  • Drain yogurt with clean muslin cloth for an hour till the water drains and yogurt becomes thick
  • Mix drained yogurt with fresh cream, cheese, garam masala powder, lemon juice, sailt & pepper powder. whisk all these ingredients well and marinate chicken in this mixture for 3 to 4 hours in refrigerator
  • Heat the grilling pan. Skewer chicken pieces and grill them on medium flame 
  • Baste the chicken in between with butter every five minutes while grilling 
  • For grilling in oven, skewer the chicken pieces and arrange them an inch apart on wire rack
  • preheat oven for and grill the chicken for 10 to 15 minutes brushing butter in between
  • Once done remove from skewers and serve hot with green chutney or any chutney of your choice.

Bharwan Bindi Masala Dry - Vegetarian Recipe - Stuffed Ladies Finger (Okra) Recipe

Bharwan Bindi Masala Dry or stuffed okra is easy to prepare and light dish. It can be served as a side dish with rotis or dal & rice or can also be served as a starter. Bharwan bindi can be cooked on special occasions and festivals. You can prepare and store the stuffing in advance and use it when required.

Ingredients : 

Bindi (Ladies finger,okra) - 250 grms
Ginger & garlic paste - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder - according to taste
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Gram flour - 2 tbsps
Peanuts powder - 2 tbsps
Dry grated coconut - 2 tsps
Cumin powder - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Lemon juice - 1 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Oil - as required
Finely chopped green chillis - according to taste
Finely chopped fresh coriander leaves 

Preparation method : 

  • Wash bindi with water and wipe & dry them with a kitchen towel. Cut the top head and bottom tip of all the okras and make a lengthwise slit from top to bottom. make sure not to cut bindi into 2 pieces. keep them aside
  • For stuffing take gram flour, green chillis, ginger & garlic paste, peanuts powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, grated coconut, salt and little oil, mix all these ingredients well.
  • Stuff each bindi with 1/2 tsp of stuffing mixture 
  • Now heat rest of the oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, when they start crackling add stuffed bindis and stir well so that the bindi are coated well with oil. Cover it with lid and cook on low flame. Turn them in between 2 -3 times, so that it cooks well from all sides and to prevent from burning.
  •  Cook till bindi becomes tender.
  • Remove the lid and add leftover stuffing and coriander leaves, mix well and cook it for 5 minutes.
  • Turn off the flame. Serve hot with rice or roti.

Ingredients :

Potatoes - medium size 6
Paneer (cottage cheese) - 100 gms
Red chilli powder - according to taste
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Amchur powder(dried mango powder) - 1 tsp
saunf pwder(funnel) - 1 tsp
Oil - 2 tbsps
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
salt to taste 
Finely chopped green chillis - according to taste
Chopped kishmish(raisins) -2 tsps
Chopped kaju(cashew nuts) - 2 tsp
Chopped fresh coriander leaves - 2 tbsps

Preparation method : 

  • Peel & parboil potatoes
  •  Scoop out the center portion of the potatoes with peeler or knife, leaving a thick round shell. keep them aside 
  • Boil the scooped out portion of potatoes & mash well
  • Add paneer, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, saunf powder, amchur podwer, green chillis, salt, kishmish, kaju & chopped fresh coriander leaves. mix well
  • Stuff this mixture in the potatoes 
  • Heat oil in a pan & add stuffed potatoes 
  • Cook potatoes till they become tender.
  • Turn off the flame. Bharwan Aloo is ready to serve

Bread Upma Recipe is a quick and simple breakfast dish .This recipe is a great way to use any kind of excess bread lying in refrigerator. It tastes almost similar as Rawa(semolina) Upma. Bread Upma takes very less time and tastes really good.




Ingredients:

Any bread slices of your choice  
Oil - 1 tbsp
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Urad dal - 1 tsp
Chana dal - 1 tsp
Curry leaves - few
Onion - 1 large (roughly chopped)
Green chillies - 4 or according to taste (roughly chopped)
Finely chopped ginger - 1 inch piece
Tomatoes - 2 medium (roughly chopped)
Salt to taste 
Red chilli powder - according to taste
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Lemon juice - 1 tsp
Coriander leaves - few for garnish

Method of prepartion:
  • Cut the sides of the bread & cut them into small pieces. Keep them aside
  • Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, chana dal, urad dal after it starts spluttering add curry leaves
  • Add chopped ginger, onions & green chillies saute
  • Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder & salt to taste
  • Now add chopped tomatoes, mix well & cook till tomatoes become soft
  • Add water as required to it & mix well. cook it till it comes to boil
  • Add bread pieces & lemon juice to this, stir well & cook it.

  • Garnish with coriander leaves & serve hot.

Sweet Corn Halwa - How to make sweet corn halwa


Ingredients :

Sweet corns - 1 cup
Milk - 1 cup
Ghee - 1/3 cup
Sugar - 1/2 cup
Cardamon powder - 1/2 tsp
Dry fruits - 1 tbsp

Preparation method ;

  • Grind sweet corns to fine paste
  • Heat ghee - 1 tsp in a pan & roast dry fruits for a minute. transfer them to another bowl & keep aside
  • Add rest of the ghee, after it melts add sweet corn paste & stir continously , cook till its color turns light brown
  • Add milk and sugar. keep stirring in between so that halwa does not get burnt
  • Cook till halwa becomes little thick, add roasted dry fruits & cardamom powder. stir well & cook for a minute. 
  • Garnish with dry fruits. Serve hot

Ingredients:

Chicken - 1/2 kg (wash chicken and drain water from it completely)
Ginger & Garlic paste - 2 tbsps
Salt to taste
Chopped fresh coriander leaves - 1 cup
Chopped fresh mint leaves - 1 cup
Chopped spinach leaves - 1/2 cup
Freshly grated coconut - 1/2 cup
Green chillies(roughly chopped) - 5-6 or according to taste
Oil - 4 tbsps
Black cardamom - 2
Green cardamom - 2
Cloves - 3 - 4
Cinnamon - 1 inch stick
Bey leaf - 2
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Onions - 2 medium size (roughly chopped)
Coconut milk - 1/2 cup
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder - according to taste
Garam masala powder - 1/2 to 1 tsp
Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp (optional)

Preparation method :

  • Marinate chicken with ginger & garlic paste & salt. keep it aside 
  • Grind Coriander leaves, mint leaves, spinach leaves, grated coconut, green chillies & onions into fine paste, green chutney is ready for gravy & keep it aside
  • Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, black cardamom, green cardamom, cloves, cinnamon stick & bey leaf, stir. 
  • Now add green chutney, salt to taste & turmeric powder, mix well & cover it with lid. cook for 2 minutes 
  • Now add marinated chicken to this, mix well & cook it for 10 minutes
  • Add red chilli powder, garam masala powder, cumin powder & 1/2 cup water. mix well & cook it for 10 to 15 minutes
  • Finally when chicken is cooked, add coconut milk, mix well cover it & cook for 5 more minutes 
  • Chicken Hariyali Curry is ready, garnish with fresh coriander leaves and mint leaves. Serve hot with steamed rice or chapathi.

Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani - How to make Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani - Simple method of making hyderabadi chicken biryani

Hyderabadi chicken  biryani is prepared with chicken, basmati rice, spices & yogurt. This is a simple method of cooking Hyderabadi Biryani by marinating chicken in yogurt & spices, cooking rice, layering rice and cooking it by sealing the edges of the vessel with dough and garnished with fresh coriander leaves, fresh mint leaves, saffron soaked in milk & fried onions.

Ingredients :

Basmati rice - 1 kg (wash the rice and soak in water for 15 min)
Chicken - 600 gms  (wash the chicken and drain water from it completely)
Black cardamom - 3
Green cardamom - 3
Black pepper - 6-7
Bey leaf - 2-3
Cloves - 6-7
Cinnamon stick - 1 inch stick
Shahi jeera - 1 tsp
Ginger & garlic paste - 2 tbsps
Salt to taste
Red chilli powder - 1 tbsp or according to taste
Garam masala - 1-2 tsps
Curd - 1cup
Onions - 2
Ghee - 4- 5 tbsps
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Mint leaves - 1/2 cup
Coriander leaves - 1/2 cup
Lemon juice - 1- 2 tsps
Chopped green chillies - 2
Oil for deep frying onions
Saffron soaked in 1/4 th cup of milk

Preparation method :
  • Cut onions into thin slices and deep fry them in oil till brown. keep them aside

  • Marinate the chicken with ginger & garlic paste, red chilli powder, salt to taste, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, green chillies, few coriander leaves, few mint leaves, curd, pure ghee - 4tbsps, lemon juice and mix it well. Marinate for 30 to 40 minutes. 
  • Boil water. when it comes to a boil, add 1 tbsp - ghee, bey leaf, cloves, black cardamom,green cardamom, cinnamon stick, pepper, salt to taste, shahi jeera and soaked rice. cook rice only until 3/4 th boiled not more than that


  • After the rice is 3/4 th cooked, transfer the chicken into cooking vessel & layer half of the rice on marinated chicken & allow little water to come along with the rice while layering so that the biryani remains moist & chicken cooks well
  • To this sprinkle little fresh coriander leaves - 1 tbsp,  mint leaves 6-7,pinch of garam masala, fried onions - 2 tbsp
  • Now drain rest of the rice in a colander layer this again & sprinkle coriander leaves - 1 tbsp, mint leaves 6-7, garam masala - 1/4 tsp, fried onions - 1 tbsp and saffron soaked in milk. cover it with lid
  • Take any flour dough and seal the edges of the vessel with the dough. 

  • Cook for 10 minutes on direct high heat & then put it on tawa & cook on lower heat for 30 minutes or  cook the biryani for 30 to 35 minutes on low flame & turn off the heat. check whether the rice & chicken is cooked well
  • Serve hot with mirchi ka salan or raitha.

  •  Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, onions, green chillies, ginger & garlic paste, turmeric powder , curry leaves saute for a min
  • Now add tamarind water & cook it
  • When it comes to boil, add methi powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chilli powder, salt to taste & steamed gram flour balls. Stir & cook it for 5 minutes. Turn off the heat.
  •  Serve hot with steamed rice.

Rice flour - 1/2 cup

Ghee - 1 tsp
Pinch of salt
Water - 1 cup

 For the sauce:


Milk - 1 1/2 cups

Sugar - 1/2 cup
Grated fresh coconut - 1/2 cup
Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp

Preparation method:



  • In a pan add water,ghee and salt .bring it to boil 
  • Add rice flour to it and mix it well to prevent lumps.
  • Reduce the flame to low and cook for 2 min or till it forms a dough consistency
  • Turn off the flame and let it cool down a little
  • When it is warm, grease your palms and knead it
  • Make a soft dough & cover it to prevent it from drying
  • Grease your palms again & make small balls with dough
  • Cover them till you use to prevent them from drying
  • Heat the milk in a wide pan
  • Add sugar and grated fresh coconut and let it boil for 2 minutes
  • Now slowly add the prepared rice balls to the boiling milk
  • Let it cook on a medium flame for 5 - 7 minutes
  • Stir occasionally
  • Add the cardamom powder & stir 
  • Turn off the flame 
  • Serve warm or cold.

  • Soak rice in water for 15 min

  • Add sugar, pinch of salt and cardamom powder, stir well till it becomes thick. Turn off the heat 
  • If your using jaggery in the place of sugar - you should melt the jaggery. In a pan add little water & add grated jaggery to it. heat it on low flame, keep stirring till jaggery melts and becomes sticky. turn off the heat. let it cool 3-4 min.then add this to cooled & cooked rice.
  • Add roasted cashew nuts & raisins to it
  • Serve it hot or cold.

  • In a heavy pan or kadai, add 1 tbsp ghee & brown rice, roast on medium flame 




  •  keep stirring & roast till its color changes slightly &  puff up a little.Turn off the flame & keep it aside to cool
  • After it cools down, grind it to a fine powder 
  • Now transfer this to a mixing bowl. 
  • Add grated fresh coconut,almond powder,cashew nuts powder & cardamom powder. keep it aside. 




  • In a pan add  jaggery and little water keep stirring & cook it on medium flame till jagerry melts & comes to a boil .turn off the flame.



  • Now take the rice mixer, add jaggery syrup slowly keep mixing it with spatula while adding the syrup,mix well 


  • Now grease your palms with ghee so that the ladoo mix does not stick. When it is little warm make ladoos




Brown rice ladoos are ready to serve. They can be stored for 15 days.

Poppy seeds - 1 tbsp (optional)
Cardamom powder - 1 tsp
Oil as required



Preparation Method ;

  • Take a pan, add jaggery, 1 tbsp ghee & poppy seeds, mix these ingredients well & cook it on medium flame. let the jaggery melt 
  • Add grated coconut to it keep mixing & cook it till its moisturizer evaporates. Now turn off the heat, transfer this mixer to another bowl & keep it aside to cool
  • Now take another pan add 2 cups water, pinch of salt ,1 tbsp ghee cover it with lid & cook it till water comes to a boil 
  • Add rice flour & mix it. Cover it & cook it on low flame.
  • Now transfer this to a plate & knead it while it is hot by applying little water to your palms. Make a smooth dough 
  • Divide the dough into little larger than lemon size & shape them into balls 
  • To shape balls to modak, grease your palms with oil
  •  Using your thumb gently press & shape it into a katori as shown in the pic
  • Once its done put some coconut stuffing in the center & pinch its sides. Atleast 5 times. Now press all the edges & join them in the top to give the shape as shown in the above pic.
  • There should not be any cracks on the modak.
  • You can also use Modak moulds to make them
  • Now steam the modak for 10 min 
  • Modaks are ready to serve.

Preparation method : 

  • Add moong dal ,rice,2 cups of water & turmeric powder powder. pressure cook it for 3-4 whistles
  • Heat 1 1/2 tbsp of ghee in apan, once hot add cumin sedds, cinnamon,coves & dry red chillies
  • Now add chopped onion, garlic paste, coriander leaves, tomato chopped, garam masala, red chilli powder, black salt & regular salt, cook it till rawness of tomato is gone
  • Add boiled moong dal & rice to it, add little water mix it well
  • add chopped boiled mixed vegetables (potatoes, green peas, french beans & carrots). Any vegetables of your choice can be added like cauliflower, sprouts etc
  • Add little more water as required & cook it for 5 min
  • Garnish with coriander leaves, Serve hot with roasted papad and mango pickle.

Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Coriander powder -1 tsp
Garam masala - 1/4 tsp
Dry red chillies - 2
Sesame seeds- 1 tbsp
Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste


Preparation method : 
  • Heat a pan, add cumin seeds, sesame seeds & grated coconut, dry roast on low flame till they turn light brown. turn off the flame & keep this aside. let it cool 
  • Once the masala is cool, grind it. keep it aside
  • Heat oil in another  pan, add chopped potatoes deep fry them till they turn light brown color & crunchy. remove them from oil & keep aside
  • In same oil add cauliflower florets & carrots fry them till they turn crunchy. remove them from oil & keep aside
  • Now add chopped capsicum to oil & fry them  till they turn lightly crunchy. remove them from oil & keep aside
  • Remove all the oil from the pan, leaving 2 tbsp of oil for cooking 
  • Heat this oil again & add asafoetida, turmeric powder, corinder powder stir well
  • Add tomato puree,ginger paste, red chilli powder, dry red chillies keep stirring & cook it on low flame till oil separates from gravy 
  • Now add cumin seeds, sesame seeds & grated coconut powder & cream. let it cook for 2-3 min
  • add green peas,1/2 cup water, salt to taste, garam masala, carrots , capsicum, potato,cauliflower mix well & cover it & cook for 3-4  min 
  • Garnish with coriander leaves 
  • Serve hot Veg kolhapuri curry with rice, roti or naan.

Oats Dosa - How To Make Simple Oats Dosa - Healthy Indian Veg Recipe

Ingredients :

Fenugreek seeds - 1 1/2 tsp
Urad dal - 1 cup
Instant oats - 5 cups
Salt to taste
Oil

Preparation method :

  • Soak urad dal  & fenugreek seeds in water 3-4 hrs
  • Soak oats for 5 to 10 min before blending 
  • Grind soaked urad dal & fenugreek seeds add soaked oats to it blend again.(batter shud not be too thick or too watery)
  • Add salt mix it well 
  • Heat 1/2 tsp oil on tava/flat pan, add little batter to it & spread it lightly in circular motion with back of the spoon
  • Add few drops of oil on top & edges cook it
  •  Flip it and cook the other side. 
  • Serve it with coconut chutney or any other chutney.

Ingredients :

Boiled noodles - 1 cup
Besan/chickpea flour - 1 cup
Semolina/rava - 1 cup
Chopped onion - 1 medium
Chopped green chillies - 3
Salt to taste
Ginger & garlic paste - 1 tsp
Grated carrot - 1/4 cup
Grated coconut - 1/4 cup
Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
Pepper powder -1/2 tsp

Preparation method :

  • In a bowl add besan, rava, salt, ginger & garlic paste,noodles, coriander powder, pepper powder, onions, green chillies, grated carrot, grated coconut,coriander leaves & add required water, mix it well & make batter
  • Heat oil in a tava/flat pan, add batter to it & spread it lightly with back of the spoon
  • Add few drops of oil on top & edges,cover with lid & cook it on low flame 
  • Flip it and cook the other side. cook it till turns medium brown color
  • Serve hot .

  • Heat oil in a pan, add asafoetida(hing), garlic paste, green chilli paste & turmeric powder fry it for a min & turn down the heat
  • Add this to bolied & mashed potatoes

Ingredients :

Munakayalu/drumsticks - 2
Chopped Tomatoes - 2-3
Grated fresh coconut - 1 cup
Chopped Onions - 1 medium
Salt to taste
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Green chillies - 2
Curry leaves - 6-7
Ginger & garlic paste - 1 1/2 tsp

  • Now add Chop Dondakayalu/tindoora & urad dal & chana dal powder,  mix well & cook it
  • Garnish with coriander leaves & serve with rice.

Ingredients :

Maida Ladoo - How To Make Maida Ladoo - Indian Sweet Recipe

Ingredients :

Maida/All-purpose flour - 1/4 kg
Ghee - 1/4 kg
Cardamom - 4
Roasted cashew nuts - as required
Raisins - as requireds
Milk - 1/2 cup
Sugar powder - according to taste

Preparation method :

  • Make a soft dough with maida & water
  • keep it aside for 1 hr. let it soak
  • Divide the dough into lemon size & roll it like chapati. shown in below pic


  • Cut it into 1 inch square pieces & deep fry them in ghee as shown in above pic & grind them into fine powder
  • Now add sugar powder, cashew nuts, raisins & milk to it. mix well 
  • Make balls 
  • Maida ladoos are ready to serve
